Reagan's Favorites

Reagan was infamous for her smile, her amazing eyes, her hugs and her hair bows.  It was only fitting for Happy Daydream to sell bows that remind us of Reagan.

Reagan always had muslin blankets with her - car trips, school, hospital stays, vacation - you name the place and we had a stack of muslin blankets with us.  During hospital stays, the blankets always helped to brighten up the room and try to make it feel a bit more like home.  One of the very first vendors that I reached out to when I was sourcing was Little Unicorn, who makes the most beautiful muslin blankets.

During our hospital stays at Yale New Haven PICU, we discovered Warmies. Warmies can be placed in the microwave and warmed up.  As Reagan got older, she suffered from hypothermia.  Rather than spiking a fever when her body was fighting an infection, her body temperature would drop to the low 90’s.  One thing that helped to slowly warm her up, was the use of Warmies.  They are weighted too, so they helped settle Reagan by providing her with some sensory input when she was anxious.

Happy Daydream will be donating 10% of any profits from the sale of any of Reagan’s Favorites to Make-A-Wish.  Make-A-Wish provided our family with our one of our last family memories before Reagan’s death.  We will forever be grateful to Make-A-Wish for the afternoon of memories, where the girls could play together and create memories.  We want to give back to Make-A-Wish, so that other families can create memories together.
